Perancangan Dan Implementasi Safety Indikator Prototype Pada Saat Pemeliharaan Di Gardu Induk Berbasis Internet Of Things


K3 readiness (occupational safety and health) when carrying out maintenance must be prioritized so that work accidents are avoided. One of the prevention of work accidents is to give the K3 supervisor who is responsible for observing the OSH readiness of each worker and has the right to decide not to do work if there is an unsafe action or unsafe condition. Even though there are K3 Supervisors, safety lines and hazard flags, the supervision carried out is still not optimal. Less optimal supervision is caused by, among other things, undisciplined personnel, the ratio of OHS Supervisors to the number of supervised personnel is low, the maintenance area supervised is relatively wide, the visibility of OHS Supervisors and personnel is limited, it is difficult to distinguish between energized and nonvoltage equipment. Overcoming these problems in this final project created a safety indicator tool system. The tool system research method is made by applying simple and efficient technology with the principle of LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) light sensors in two levels on each side using an ATmega 328P microcontroller and utilizing a wireless network that functions as an early warning tool with an indication of real time notifications that have been determined, and equipped with a counter for the number of people entering the work area. The application of this tool system aims to make it easier for OHS Supervisors to supervise worker personnel in the installation area of the tool system when carrying out maintenance, besides that it aims to support management programs on occupational safety and health, so as to achieve zero accidents.
